In the recently surfaced video clip, an unidentified flying object (UFO) is observed seamlessly transitioning between black and white hues as it gracefully glides over a US military facility. The footage, initially posted on Instagram by artist and filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, has since circulated on various social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter). The peculiar clip captures a jellyfish-like object maneuvering over the joint operation base in Iraq, an “incursion” described by Mr. Corbell and other online users, purportedly recorded by the military in 2018.
The leaked video emerges amidst a backdrop of increasing reports of UFO sightings worldwide. Earlier this week, the Miami police had to release a statement debunking a video featuring a shootout, accompanied by claims of a “10-foot alien” outside a mall.
Within the latest clip, the enigmatic object alternates between black and white colors, effortlessly navigating the military facility. According to Mr. Corbell, the UFO submerged itself in a lake, remaining underwater for 17 minutes, before resurfacing and rapidly ascending into the sky at a 45-degree angle.
Detailing the incident on Instagram, Mr. Corbell noted, “The UAP displayed low observability, was not visible with Night Vision (IR), and appeared to jam the targeting capability of the optical platform.”
The video sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with some users dismissing it as a mere “smudge” on the camera lens, while others staunchly believed in its authenticity.
“Not trying to be a killjoy, but it kinda looks like a smudge on the camera lens,” remarked one user.
“If the jellyfish is changing temp, then so are these road barriers. It’s adjusting the temp scale to surroundings,” commented another.
“Don’t think I’ve ever seen any UAP display a varying thermal signature like that,” remarked a third user.
This isn’t the first instance where Mr. Corbell has unveiled footage of UFOs spotted over military bases, having previously shared sightings of a triangular craft and a “silver orb.”
