When this resilient mama first reached out to Gina and me several months ago to book our doula support + birth photography package, we were overjoyed. Our initial meeting at a Starbucks in downtown St. Paul was filled with laughter, setting the tone for the positive journey ahead.
I eagerly anticipated capturing the beautiful moments of her birth through photographs, grateful that she had planned ahead and secured our services before our schedule filled up. Smart mama indeed!
The much-awaited day finally arrived, and we met her at the birth center bright and early. As I walked in, the unmistakable sounds of a woman in active labor filled the room. She powered through hours of labor, demonstrating incredible strength and determination.
Finally, in the middle of the afternoon, after utilizing sterile water injections (twice!), the TENS machine, and all the doula tricks Gina could muster, she joyfully met her baby. The incredible moments were a testament to her resilience and the support she received.
